After my one year National Youth Service Program, I attended the Demystifying CSR workshop by Abosede George Organ where she passionately shared how corporate organizations should see sustainability and the role that sustainability champions like myself can play in helping corporate Nigeria navigate through the quagmire of social good and social relevance.
She also shared how I can consciously build a career in the social enterprise phase while still growing as a social advocate for good. Majority of my advocacy skills were honed during that workshop and the series of mentoring she offered post workshop. Abosede George is passionate about building people and systems.
In Building a Concious Career, Abosede George Organ shares how she built her career as a tripartite leader operating in the non-profit, corporate and government sectors of Nigeria. Abosede knows her onions and you are holding a goldmine that will help you navigate through your career path happily even if you are at a job you don't like.

Abosede George-Ogan is the quintessenal career coach and professional. Sublime and pragmac, her ability to listen attentively, communicate effectively focusing on my strengths and helping me work on my weaknesses were a constant source of motivation that drove me to put in my best on the job and ultimately develop affinity and confidence to purse the career I am in today. I therefore recommend this book to any forward looking professional who aspires to reach the peak of their chosen career.

Two years ago, I met Abosede at a workshop she organized. That meeting became pivotal to the new direction my career took going forward and helped in how I positioned myself for the progress that I now enjoy.
Beyond that workshop, I have stayed in touch with her and she constantly gives immensely useful career advice. She is a super occupied professional, mother and wife yet she makes out time for other people. I can say that because she has always attended to me whenever I have reached out.
When you meet her, you can tell that she has a heart for people and their development. She is good at what she does. That is why I am not surprised at the success of her career that has spanned the non-profit, private and public sectors.
For any young person looking to catalyze their career growth, a simple fraction of her knowledge and experience will suffice. Experienced professionals will also find that they can learn a whole lot from her as well.
